The first subject of the driving license test, the driver theory test, is conducted at the vehicle management office. The examination content includes the basic knowledge of driving theory, road safety laws and regulations, traffic signals, traffic rules and local regulations.

The time for holding the driver's theory test shall be arranged by each local vehicle management office. The total test time for Subject 1 is 45 minutes. The test paper consists of 100 questions. The full score is 100 points, and 90 points are required to pass. The test papers are randomly selected and combined by the computer driver examination system according to the proportional relationship stipulated in the "Motor Vehicle Driving License Business Standards". Subject 1 is part of the motor vehicle driving training teaching and examination syllabus.

The examination part of this syllabus is divided into three subjects. After passing the examination of the previous subject, you can take the examination of the next subject. If you fail the previous subject examination, you should continue to retake the subject until you pass the examination.
