The turning radius of the rear wheels of a car is smaller than that of the front wheels, so the space required for reversing the car into the garage is smaller than the space required for the car to drive directly into the garage. So what are the tips for reversing a car into a warehouse?

Step 1: Shift into first gear and drive at low speed to the exam area. During travel, correct the direction so that the vehicle body is 1.5-1.8m away from the white line at the edge of the garage. Stop when the shoulder line coincides with the control line.

Step 2: After parking for more than three seconds, shift into reverse gear and drive at low speed. When the lower edge of the left rearview mirror coincides with the control line, quickly turn the steering wheel to the right.

Step 3: Observe the right rearview mirror and make adjustments according to the distance between the vehicle body and the left front corner of the storage area. When it is larger than 30cm, turn the steering wheel to the right; when it is smaller than 30cm, turn the steering wheel to the left.

Step 4: When the vehicle body and the edge of the reservoir area are about to be parallel, turn the steering wheel back to the left. Then observe the left rearview mirror and stop when the lower edge of the left rearview mirror covers the left front horizontal line of the storage area.

Step 5: After parking for more than 3 seconds, shift into first gear and exit the warehouse. Observe the left rearview mirror. When the left rear wheel is flush with the front corner of the warehouse, quickly turn the steering wheel to the left. Stop when the shoulder line coincides with the control line.

Step 6: After parking for more than three seconds, put the vehicle in reverse gear and drive at a low speed. Use the rearview mirror to observe the distance between the car body and the left front corner of the warehouse area. If the distance is greater than 30cm, turn the steering wheel left, and if it is less than 30cm, turn the steering wheel right.

Step 7: When the vehicle body is parallel to the edge of the warehouse, the steering wheel returns to the right. Stop when the lower edge of the left rearview mirror covers the left front horizontal line of the garage area.

Step 8: After parking for more than 3 seconds, shift into first gear and exit the garage. When the hood coincides with the white line in the garage area, turn the steering wheel full to the right and exit the garage.

It should be noted that the body and the edge of the garage must be aligned. After the vehicle is put into storage, be sure to observe the rearview mirrors on both sides. If the vehicle body is out of alignment, you must adjust it in time, and the vehicle speed must not be too fast while driving.
